One of the best ways to stay relevant in the world of social media is to retweet, reblog, or link content that’s in line with your social media persona and marketing goals. Find a few go-to bloggers and follow their blogs. Like their posts. Repost their posts. They will eventually do the same.
A few great search tools are:
Google [of course]
On the toolbar at the top of Google, go to “more,” “even more,” then “blogs.” This will let you search only within blogs! Head over there and find some great content.
Twitter
Go to Twitter and use hashtags to find content. Enter some obvious ones. Now enter some less obvious ones and see what happens. Go to some of the content providers you have identified and see what they are tweeting about and what hashtags they use. Try those. Just explore and you will find what you need.
Pinterest
Pinterest is a great way to get visual content as well as easily find content with some depth. Get on Pinterest. Create an account. Find people to follow via their suggestions or doing some searching. You do need some idea of what you are looking for. You will be amazed about what you find on Pinterest!
Blogs
Use an RSS feed or Start Page to monitor blogs that are relevant to your social media marketing strategy. Let these great bloggers do the work for you. They find the content. They package it neatly. You just need to make sure and credit them if you re-blog or re-post. Easy!
